PET OF THE MONTH

Dewey is an extremely sweet girl. She is an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and she is about 1 ½ years old. She has very expressive, soulful eyes, and her fur is soft. When she sees someone she likes, she will often whine a little bit, sit down, and offer her paw as if to say, "Pet me, please!"

She absolutely loves to go for walks in the park, and she would make an excellent hiking buddy for an active family. She is very strong though, and she will pull on her leash, so she would benefit from some basic obedience training. She would probably do very well in training, since she is quite food-motivated (she loves her treats!), and she has already learned the basic commands "sit" and "shake." She is not always fond of other dogs, especially other females, so a meet n' greet with any possible canine "siblings" is a must.
