Description: Betty is a 1 1/2 yr old brown tabby who is an affectionate girl who likes to sit on your lap while you type or read. If you pat your lap, she will jump up for a cuddle. She enjoys looking out the window at life outside and lounging on the cat condo. However, Betty is independent and particular about when she wants affection. She likes to be petted around her head, neck and ears area, but it is best to approach her with your hand coming from behind and not over her face. Betty gets along with other cats but would do best in a home without children. Betty needs a home where she will be allowed to exercise her independence, she is not suited for someone that wants that "needs to be with you all the time" kind of cat as she wants attention on her own terms.
